Our History

70 Years of Women, Service and Community

The history of the Polish Canadian Women’s Federation (Federacja Polek w Kanadzie) is a story of women who understood that preserving their heritage and building a life in Canada were not competing goals, but complementary responsibilities.

Since 1956, generations of members have brought women together, assisted those in need, preserved Polish culture and historical memory, supported young people and families, and contributed actively to Polish Canadian and broader Canadian community life.

What began with one woman’s vision has become a national organization of 11 active branches across Canada.
