On January 24, the Polonia Ball (Bal Polonii) was held in Mississauga. Organized by the National Executive of the Canadian Polish Congress (Zarząd Główny Kongresu Polonii Kanadyjskiej – ZG KPK), this special fundraising event raised funds to support a strong and visible Polish Canadian presence at Toronto’s annual Constitution Day Parade.
The Polish Canadian Women’s Federation (Federacja Polek w Kanadzie) was proud to contribute to this important community initiative.
President Anna Wołochacz is an active member of the community organizing committee responsible for coordinating the Toronto Constitution Day Parade.
Several Federation branches also supported the event:
- Branch No. 24 donated raffle prizes and assisted with raffle ticket sales.
- Branches No. 13 and No. 18 contributed by donating raffle prizes.
- Branch No. 1 participated in the celebration and supported the event through its attendance.
The evening was filled with friendship, generosity, and a strong sense of community. Events like these demonstrate what can be achieved when Polish Canadians come together in support of shared goals and traditions.
